Hot Wings is a division of Hot Sails Maui, a sail brand I founded 38 years ago when I arrived on Maui at 23. I have spent my life on the cutting edge of sail development, and when I chose to start working on wings, I used the experience I had gained from four decades of sail-making to help me create an exceptional wing. I watched as Ken Winner and Alan Cadiz started winging in front of my home, but it was not until I saw Bernd Roediger winging and looking like a dancer on the water did I have that “Ah Ha” moment and dove into the new sport. Now I’m winging regularly and loving it.

Covid messed with my wing product development, but I have used the downtime to refine my offerings to you now. The Hot Wing has been honed and offers a few delightful surprises. I am committed to helping you have a “Perfect Session” whenever you go out!
